Also, it might help playing a short game on the side. I'll be playing Portal while still working on the marathon games so I won't get bored.

I'm taking a break from hosting marathons in October, if only because I've been failing at it so far and I'm just playing whatever anyway.
I might join a horror game marathon if someone host it, though.

I do plan on hosting a Music/Rhythm marathon in November. Cheesy name to come. tentative title: "Dance to the :B:" Wink

I'll probably be hosting the Survival Horror Marathon for the 13 days of Halloween. I'll be doing a Plasma Cutter Only run on Dead Space on Impossible Difficulty.

Dance to the :B: sounds like a good idea except it's more like Sing to the :B: for me because I play with the mic more than the guitar.

Putting Chrono Trigger on hold (just for a bit) because there's a crack on the DS' right hinges. Hopefully I can fix it before the problem worsens.

For horror, I would
try to finish Resident Evil (GCN)
play RE4 (Wii)

and obtain and beat either Dead Space (ps3 or 360? is one version better?) or a Silent Hill game.

Dead Space on both versions are pretty much the same. If you want to know the minor difference:

-Each version has exclusive DLC Suit for Isaac. These DLCs are optional and are not needed to finish the game.
Obsidian Suit for PS3 (Black and Blue)
Elite Suit for 360 (White and Green)
Both suits are level 5 and have the same stats. The color is just different to match the console.

-The more obvious difference is the controls. It depends on which controller you are more comfortable with.

EDIT: The game also earned "Greatest Hits" and "Platinum Hits" on PS3 and 360 respectively so brand a new copy should be around $20 regardless of what version you get.

At the moment I'm most comfortable with Dualshock, but we'll see if that changes as I play my 360. Thanks for the details.

Yeah no problem.

With Chrono Trigger being unplayable at the moment, I got some stuff done on KHII. It's a win-lose, lose-win situation.
